Digital piano recorded 12/31/2022 (Solar Revolt I) and 1/8/2023 (Solar Revolt II) on a Roland FP-10 (MIDI). Synthesizer/glitch effect parameter automation recorded 1/3/2023. Composed 12/31–1/12/2023.

“Solar Revolt I, II” is a two movement piece featuring glitch-based synths and effects in addition to piano improvisation. In the first movement, I added the glitch effects after the piano improvisation was recorded and arranged, with glitch parameter automation improvised on a MIDI fader controller. In the second movement, I recorded the piano improvisations over the glitch synths.
