Silences of the Druids (2009) is a fixed media work constructed from processed samples of The Unanswered Question by Charles Ives. Three stretched and filtered samples of the recording are layered. A single sustained chord played on strings (which Ives described as representing "the Silences of the Druids") is introduced.
